She meets aspiring warrior, Nova, who seeks to overthrow her neighboring country’s brutal king. As both girls grapple with trauma, they form a deep bond and learn that, in Lullina, they can alter the visible world with their minds. But Chrys can also change what cannot be seen. This rare and dangerous power can spontaneously open portals, stop beating hearts, or worse. If the Lullians have their way, Chrys’ mind could be a dangerous weapon against the very nation Nova has sworn to protect. Chrys must battle Nova, her mother’s monsters, and her own mental demons to take control of her power and transport back home.
